SMART 2021 Goal Week4: Busier Days Ahead
Welcome welcome, how amazing to meet with you all again. Hope you’re all doing very well! I can’t believe January is almost finished! It’s been such a month with good changes, at least from my side.
Algorithmic Trading with Economics Driven Deep Learning // towards data science.
Lately, I’ve been quite interested in ML applications in Finance and Economics. This article dives into the Multi-Graph Tensor Network model and actually explains the technical background and the development very nicely. Last week I purchased this Udemy course on R and I’ve been really enjoying it. The content is not overwhelming and everything is explained in a very clear way. I watch the lessons x1.5 speed, I find it way easier to focus, more efficient. So far I went through over 30 lectures out of 88 and I can already feel that I have a better understanding of the fundamentals of R. Solving the homework at the end of each section and seeing what I can implement is really great.
Besides these, I’ve been reading about Explanatory Data Analysis. So far I don’t have many resources to share but I hope to gather enough information to collect them in one article.
Reflection on this week
As one responsibility is completed, the other ones start. Just as finished all my exams, I learned that I need to finish a project (that I don’t have much technical knowledge about) in 3 days. Even though this makes me slightly anxious, I know that I can benefit from it by learning many new things in a short period.
What I’m planning to do next week?
I will go through at least 25 more tutorials from R, with that I’ll be 2/3 done with the program I purchased.
I will continue on Phyton masterclass. I will go through at least 1 video a day.
Lastly, I’d like to read more scientific papers. It’s not the easiest thing to read and digest but I believe in the value they provide for me.
